Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq (AAS-I)

AAS-I, a Charitable, humanitarian, non-profit organization, operating under the principle of voluntary collective action, to achieve humanitarian goals through development programs and building, relief, education and culture. Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq (AAS-Iraq)  was nominated to receive the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize.

Humanitarian Nineveh Relief Organization (HNRO)

HNRO was founded by Nineveh IDPs in the immediate aftermath of the summer of 2014. They  are an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization, which works to provide desperately needed humanitarian services to all people affected by mass violence in Iraq, regardless of religious or ethnic identity. 

Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena-Erbil

The Order of St. Catherine of Siena in Iraq is a congregation of religious sisters. These women, persecuted and displaced by ISIS have been in the trenches, helping victims find relief, provide education, and religious program to their community members. They are our living heroines.
