Support for Frontline Workers and Communities Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic; COVID 19 Pandemic tested all of us, especially the frontline workers who came face to face with challenges never seen before. On a daily basis, they courageously battled an invisible enemy which threatened everyone. Many are our unsung heroes. In support of these brave men and women who risked their lives everyday, ICRC provided them with thousands of life-saving protective masks. In addition to serving the frontline workers, we partnered with religious institutions in Chicago to provide the disadvantage communities with protective masks.
